Assisted Living

While most seniors enjoy their independence and freedom, there are natural changes occurring with the aging process that may require more personal assistance and support. At King-Bruwaert House, we make every effort to recognize and respond to individual needs. Our experienced staff includes registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, activity aides, a registered dietitian, maintenance workers, housekeeping and food service assistants. With a full spectrum of services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, residents receive personalized care that ensures their well-being.

Room Styles
Both studio and two-room suites that overlook our beautiful, scenic grounds are available in Assisted Living. We encourage residents to bring their own furnishings and accessories to decorate their rooms with color choices that are pleasing and compatible with their preferences.

Meals
Residents enjoy three delicious and nutritious daily meals:  breakfast, dinner and supper. Options include large or small portions and menu choices that also reflect dietary preferences and health needs.

Social Activities and Transportation
Daily social activities are scheduled and listed on a monthly calendar for all residents. Daily transportation is available to accommodate appointments, shopping trips, church attendance and other needs or interests.

Continuum of Care
In the event of a serious illness or hospitalization, residents in Assisted Living may be moved temporarily to a higher level of care to support the healing process. Based on a physician’s recommendation, we will arrange for the services and therapies best suited to the recuperation of the individual.
