Charitable Mission
Since 1933, residents, family members, friends, staff and Board members graciously have supported King-Bruwaert House with generous donations. These contributions have allowed us to continue our mission and the exceptional care and services that distinguish our retirement community.
A non-profit continuous care retirement community, King-Bruwaert House is registered as a 501C3 charitable organization. Contributions directed to King-Bruwaert House are tax deductible as allowed by law. All services provided to our residents are partially underwritten by our long-standing Endowment Fund that supports a high quality of care provided by our tenured, experienced nursing, administrative and support staff. Our unique LifeCare program allows residents with dwindling assets to remain in our care through all health care cycles.
Through our charitable programs, King-Bruwaert House continues the mission established by our founder, Suzanne King-Bruwaert. Contributions and dedicated donations help to underwrite such amenities as our chapel, Fitness Center, Enabling Garden, year-round greenhouse, musical instruments, service expansions, interior furnishings and audio-visual equipment. Donors also may consider support for the following:
