Geriatric Assessment Center
Providing Excellent Senior Health Care Services
for the Community
When
it comes to meeting the health care needs of senior adults, The
Geriatric Assessment Center at King-Bruwaert House provides invaluable
services through a team of geriatric specialists who understand
the physical and emotional changes that develop with the aging
process.
Our center is open five days a week - by appointment - offering
primary care outpatient and lab services to all King-Bruwaert residents
and the general public.
Medical Director Dr. Peter Norvid meets with a patient in the Geriatric Assessment and Outpatient Clinic located at King-Bruwaert House. New patients are welcome.

We
ask all prospective King-Bruwaert House residents to undergo a
comprehensive physical assessment in our clinic prior to admission.
This assessment includes a complete physical examination, several
tests and a lifestyle analysis with special attention to dietary
and therapeutic needs, as well as the ongoing use of medications.
All residents receive personalized medical attention that coincides
with healthy eating, exercise, activities and medication administration
as needed.
Fitness Director Barbara Schafer oversees fitness activities.
