Independent Retirement Communities
For those considering a move to an independent retirement community,
King-Bruwaert offers two exceptional options for senior adults age
60 and older:
The Woods of King-Bruwaert
This
well-planned upscale cottage community continues to be one of the
most gracious and distinctive retirement areas in the country. Designed
to blend gracefully into a natural wooded setting, each maintenance-free
Georgian-style home offers a breathtaking view of trees, flowers,
perennial gardens and rolling terrain. Residents enjoy year-round
scenery and relax or entertain on their decks, patios or heated
porches. For those who enjoy walking or jogging activities, The
Woods offers a well-maintained one-mile path that meanders along
Flagg Creek, a fishing pond, gazebo, natural habitat and a small
bridge. Limited transportation and year-round social activities
are available.
Residents moving into The Woods sign a residence agreement and
pay a unit fee plus a monthly assessment to the King-Bruwaert retirement
community. More information is available by calling our Director

single-story duplex home. Limited transportation and year-round
social activities also are available.
