personalized care in a safe, secure environment.
Suzanne's Place at King-Bruwaert House looks and feels like a
comfortable, well-designed home. The setting includes a
private dining room with a warm, cozy fireplace, a beautiful courtyard,
recreation area, TV room and sitting area - which becomes an ideal
place for people requiring 24-hour supervision and personal care.
Most medical authorities believe the most effective care programs
for Alzheimer's patients involve high levels of supervision and
stimulation typically found in activity-based programming. Our
memory loss unit is staffed with caring professionals who understand
the importance of focusing on an individual's abilities rather
than their disabilities. They do everything possible to create
a loving environment that encourages individual dignity removing
the stigma associated with an individual's changing physical and
emotional disposition.
