Skilled Care Services

24-Hour Nursing Care

Residents recommended for 24-hour skilled and intermediate nursing care have two options available at King-Bruwaert House – Rose Wing or our Healthcare Center - depending on an individual’s needs. All residents living in our skilled care areas receive three daily meals, housekeeping, laundry and linen services, medication administration, support services, social services and a variety of daily, supervised activities.

Rose Wing
Our 14-bed Rose Wing offers nursing care to individuals who do not require a secure living area. All Rose Wing rooms are private with an individual bath.

Healthcare Center
Our 35-bed Healthcare Center offers round-the-clock care and supervision in a secure area. Available rooms are private and semi-private.

In both areas, services include IV management, tube feedings, complex wound care and daily assistance with dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility and other personal care needs. Staff in both areas include registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, activity aides, social workers and a licensed dietician.

Please note:  The level of care and the corresponding residential areas are determined by a team of geriatric and medical specialists who conduct a clinical assessment at the time of admission. Every effort is made to match the resident with the care unit most suited to their physical, social and emotional well-being.
